Our First Blog

This is our first attempt at blogging so fogive us if we don't know the right blog lingo. We just returned from Ft. Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma, where Tyler graduated his Basic Training. He looks so sharp in his class A uniform below. The graduation was inspiring with 208 young men that are willing to defend our country.

This is Tyler walking across the stage to get his certificate. We're so proud of him.

Jana finally gets to rest in the security of her sons arms. She feels better, he looks better, so life is good. Ty has lost 40+ lbs while at basic. He is one of only 2 (out of 208) that rated expert in shooting (M-16) and Grenades. He is excelling in all aspects of the military.

While on the parade grounds we watched a demonstration of the young men doing an assult on an entrenched enemy combatant.

Just a great picture of Jana and Ty. He is content and happy with what he is doing with his life. It was a great trip and Jana cried for the next 80 miles back to the airport.
